"Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory." - Dr. Suess
That quote rings so true to my heart. Traveling is by far one of the most important things in my life. The gifts of experience and creating lasting memories are priceless.
In August we took our first road trip (since the baby was born) to explore a bit of the Texas hill country. The absolute must-see point of interest on our list was Krause Springs in Spicewood, Texas. I often dream of going places and what it might feel like when I'm there. The best part is turning those dreams into reality because that is when the magic happens. Once we arrived at our destination I realized I forgot to put the battery in my "good camera." Thank goodness for the back up point-n-shoot. (Click below to watch the video)
Krause Springs is located in Spicewood, Texas and has been owned by the Krause family for over 50+ years.
This 45 acre property has 32 natural springs! There are spots available for primitive and RV camping. Restrooms and spring fed showers are available for use too.
The best kind of fun for curious kids. We found fossils, butterflies, fish and much more. Pack your lunch and bring your cooler. Just be cautious of the slippery rocks.
Nature, in all of it's glorious bounty is just bursting with energy. Positive vibes runneth over. I can feel it's magnitude, it's grandeur, it's pulse beneath my feet!
I wish you well and that you may take a break from the norm to add self care and adventure into your life. If you live in Texas, do put this place on your list. You'll love it!
